
Michael A. Grant
Michael Grant serves as a business consultant for Liberty Bank located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Liberty is the largest Black owned bank in America with over $1.3 billion in assets.
Michael is the former President of United Security Financial Mortgage Company, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. He also served as president of the National Bankers Association, a position he held for nine years.
He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the Howard University School of Law in 1983.
As a corporate consultant for fifteen years, Michael conducted leadership development training and motivational seminars for some of America’s best known companies including: Marriott and Ritz-Carlton Hotels, McDonalds Corporation, Harrah’s Casinos, the Cracker Barrell Corporation and many others.
The author of two books: Beyond Blame (1994) and Your Marvelous Mind (2000), Michael also served on the Commission for the Future of the Tennessee Judicial System, president of the Nashville Branch of the NAACP and was co-founder of the Greater Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce.
Michael has also been the recipient of numerous awards and citations which include the following: the U.S. Commerce Department’s Minority Business Development Agency’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Ebony Magazine’s 50 Top Leaders of Black Organizations and Who’s Who in Washington, D.C.
Tammy Boyd
Tammy Boyd, is a strategic adviser, relationship builder and government affairs expert with extensive experience in building high – impact coalitions, shaping transformative policies and championing legislative initiatives that address systemic inequities. Throughout her career, Tammy has worked tirelessly to empower underserved and under-resourced communities.
Tammy served as Legislative Director for the late Congressman John Lewis, driving initiatives in the Ways and Means Committee and contributing to the establishment of the Smithsonian National Museum of African-American History and Culture.
Tammy holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Washington College of Law at American University, a Masters degree in Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Tuskegee University. She has also earned credentials in Public Leadership and Digital Health from Harvard University.


Victor Cook
A board member with an extensive background as an administrator and financial analyst, Victor holds the position of human resources administrator for United Security Financial Mortgage Company. He also works closely with the CFO managing various corporate accounts and producing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
From 2012 – 2017, Victor served as chief financial officer for the National Bankers Association in Washington, D.C. In this capacity, he oversaw budgeting, financial forecasting and cashflow for the association. He coordinated all audit activities. Victor was also involved in strategic planning, evaluation, and professional development initiatives.
From December 2009 – November 2012, Victor served as executive director of the National Bankers Association’s Foundation. In this capacity, he was responsible for the development, coordination and review of the Foundation’s programs in financial literacy, communications, community outreach, government relations and daily operations of the Foundation’s office. He oversaw general administration, financial operations and special projects.
